At a Glance
Agriculture product is always at the mercy of mother nature. Long Wet season or extended drought have a great influence on the quality of wheat produced. The enzymatic activity in the wheat is greatly influenced by it. Premature sprouting or Sprout Damage can occur due to excessive moisture exposure and create undesirable effect in the enzyme activities. Flour Millers use Falling Number test to determine of wheat contains sprout-damage kernel to assess the detrimental effect of this enzyme to the final product.
AlphatecTM FNo gives grain receivers and flour millers a safe and modern solution of performing the standard falling number test for checking sprouting damage in grain and enzyme activity in flour. Due to the nature of the current test method, the new AlphatecTM FNo has been designed to put safety of operation as well as operation simplicity at its heart.
