Real Time Results
FossPro 2 allows you to gain full and complete control of your production with continuous flow of “real time” results of the product composition. This can improve product consistency, optimizes the use of raw materials, and in turn, benefit your business by reducing costs and improving product quality. Continuous flow of results also promotes full traceability which alerts if products are out of spec and ensure high product consistency.

Any producer knows that moisture forms on the surface of products, hence it is important for infrared light used in the measurement to penetrate deep into the sample. Our 3rd generation lateral transmittance is positioned lengthwise in the pipe allowing ProFoss™ 2 to measure from the core of the material in process. Furthermore it utilizes a form of near infrared analysis called transmittance to allow for deeper penetration into the sample in comparison to near infrared reflectance solutions which simply measure the surface of a sample.
Performance validation
Registering and measuring samples by the ProFoss 2 and a bench top analyser (FoodScan 2 or NIRS DS3) reduces the risk of error and secure optimal performance. Using integration, connectivity and automation the results matched are saved via cloud and are ready for evaluation and reporting using digital services
Trend Analysis
ProFoss™ 2 allows you to do direct measurements in the process line, thereby effectively avoiding sampling errors and sample preparation errors. The results are shown in an intuitive graphical display, making it easy to spot variations. Because ProFoss™ 2 is measuring every few seconds it gives a reliable picture of what is going on in the process.
High resolution near infrared technology
High resolution diode array technology ensures accurate and continuous analysis, giving you a clearer picture of your process. A high number of pixels (diode sensors) in the spectrum secures a more detailed (accurate) and uniform (repeatable) analysis result
