Always Know What’s Goin On with Real Time Analysis

ProFoss™ 2 provides continuous flow analysis which will allow you to shift production targets closer to fat and moisture specifications for immediate and lasting improvements to yield. Each measurement is made up of high-frequency sub-scans ensuring nothing gets missed. Using near infrared transmittance, ProFoss 2 is able to penetrated deep into the sample avoiding interference from moisture that forms on butter. Furthermore the ProFoss 2 measures directly in the process pipe with the patented 3rd generation FOSS lateral transmittance product interface giving a unique high-resolution signal for unprecedented accuracy.

Dedicated Sample Interface

The 3rd generation lateral transmittance probe does not restrict the flowrate of product. It is easily installed in the production line with a standard Varinline connection for installation in a piper or by welding an interface flange into the wall of a tank. In combination with the ProFoss 2 unit, it is perfect for the inline analysis of butter, sweet butter, salted butter, butter blends, and more.
