The Accupoint ATP Monitoring System is based on the masurement of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – a substance found in all living cells. When ATP contacts the firefly reagent luciferin luciferase, a reactikon takes place that produces light. The Accupoint measures this light output. The higher the levels of food residue and microorganisms on a surface, the more ATP and the more light that is produce.

Alert for Histamine is a quick screening test to detect this toxin at graded levels, including the FDA action level of 50 ppm. The test is a competitive direct enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (CD-ELISA) that uses a quick water extraction process to extract histamine from a sample. If the sample has more blue color than the known control, it contains less histamine than the control.
