SHELLAB general purpose incubators deliver a superior degree of temperature uniformity. A precise microprocessor controller, a unique warm air-jacket design and triple wall construction all contribute to ensuring optimum temperature uniformity. This design requires no blowers or fans within the incubator chamber. Five strategically placed heating elements, including a heated outer door; ensure uniform heating, while our unique air-jacket design eliminates hot spots when the incubator chamber is fully loaded.

Large Capacity Incubator

These models provide extra-large chamber capacities while minimizing the amount of floor space used. All models incorporate our microprocessor controller to achieve precise temperature uniformity. A totally independent secondary temperature controller offers the added security of over temperature protection. The chamber floors are ruggedly reinforced to support roller apparatus or shakers. The Model RI40 also incorporates flip out ramps to facilitate the movement of equipment such as roller racks. Both models are supplied with six (6) sturdy shelves for heavy loads.

Value Plus Incubator

The Model EI1 and EI2 incubators are a budget-wise choice for routine incubations of small workloads. Efficient gravity convection heating is supplied by economical low watt density heating elements. The heating element has a unique shield to protect against spills inside the chamber.

Temperature is regulated by a dependable hydraulic temperature controller. The rigidly constructed chamber is insulated with 2 inches of industrial fibreglass, minimizing heat loss and maximizing temperature uniformity.

Cooled Incubator

The Snijders Scientific cooled incubators are not just designed for general microbiological, food, water and medical research. But also for tenability tests or long term storage. It's wide temperature range and flexible programmer (is optional) allow these incubators to be used for practically any standard test. Another important feature is the fast recovery of temperature to within approximately 0.3 C after a door(s) opening. All the platform, guide sleeves and fixing rungs are easily removed leaving a seamless chamber(s)for ease of cleaning. Available in an upright model with 1 chamber (EB1E) or 2 chambers (EB2E)
