Decontamination is easier than ever. The Model 3552 is the latest addition to SHEL LAB 3500 series of CO2 Incubators. Featuring a dry, high heat decontamination cycle, the 3552 has the ability to maintain 180ºC for 120 minutes without having to remove or handle the IR Sensor! The automatic cycle is activated via a two step process to prevent it from being started accidentally. As a part of our total decontamination solution, a copper coated HEPA filter is used to capture airborne particulates, stopping microbes before they have an opportunity to reproduce.

Anti-corrosion anode allows use of distilled or tap water (de-ionized water should not be used). The inclusion of this anode eliminates potential rusting in water jacket chamber. This slim, lightweight incubator can be easily repositioned to reduce downtime and is well-suited for multiple users. Three temperature control settings (main chamber, external door and front liner) minimize condensation and facilitate superior temperature uniformity. This fine tuning capability allows you to accurately select temperature settings, providing stable and optimal culturing conditions. As well, the heated CO2 inlet port reduces potential for condensation that can promote contamination within or around the inlet port. Our unique HEPA filtration system removes 99.97% of all airborne microbes and isolated particulates 0.3 microns or larger.

This CO2 incubator possesses superior temperature uniformity and has an interior made from one single piece of stainless steel. There are no seams or welds where contaminants could multiply. Combine this construction feature with a HEPA filter housed within a copper case and you have an incubator truly designed to minimize contamination. Another important feature is the glass inner-door, which permits viewing of samples inside the chamber without loss of control conditions. Independent heating of the outer door prevents condensation on the glass inner-door.
